1.    Do you still remember why you took that stride,

2.    Parted from beloved home, left warmth behind,

3.    On this land of unknowns, with courage as your guide,

4.    You set out on a journey, destination undefined.

5.    Do you still recall what pulled you on,

6.    Through crowded streets, and the drifting throng,

7.    In this city of neon lights, drawn and gone,

8.    Chasing the place where your soul belong.

9.    Perhaps those sleepless nights had faded from your mind,

10.  The questions and lessons, the answers hard to find.

11.  Forgotten all the passion, the dreams that once rang true,

12.  You toiled with will, though rewards were far and few.

13.  Until one day, persistence met its chance,

14.  You gave your all, in every word and dance.

15.  In a world where madness ran, you hoped your pen could span,

16.  A bridge built out of stories, to grow trust among man.

17.  Though resolute your mind, though fearless your kind,

18.  Slight and apathy weighed you down, scorn and laughter swelled to drown.

19.  When the world stayed tangled, and hands remained apart,

20.  A silent quiver bloomed, faltering, sinking, mourning, struggling,

21.  In the clamour of the town, where shadows wore the crown.

22.  But you never wished to flee, even life bended your knee.

23.  You knew harvest followed the seed,

24.  Yet rushed to reap, nothing would come to thee.

25.  When memories returned, you spoke with your soul,

26.  And found strength within, made your spirit whole.

27.  No grand crusade, no world to overthrow,

28.  But longing from afar, and solace near bestowed.

29.  At last, you retrieved,

30.  To walk with those you love, there lies the rarest balm.

31.  So you took up your pen, no longer astray,

32.  And let the lines flow, composing your day.

33.  Gliding the tide, serenity belied,

34.  Stirred by dread, and doubts implied.

35.  You severed the bond, and kept your pace,

36.  For you had glimpsed the journey’s grace.

37.  To seek what lies ahead, to dream beyond what they see,

38.  To tread where fear once led, to rise when the faith break free.

39.  As verse, life reads in peace, through storm, and deep mystery.

40.  When the east ascends in glee,

41.  What, will your story be?
